This is my version of Altaïr from Assassin's Creed, and probably the only "fanart" I'll ever do. After playing the game, I checked out some trailers and art, and got very tired of seeing mainly blue-tinged images. Furthermore, I wanted to see his face. That's what I do, paint faces. Hoods kind of hamper that attempt. I also couldn't bring myself to chop off his ring finger. May I be forgiven by the die-hard fans of the game. No harness either, or sword and throwing knives for that matter. =]

I had fun doing this one, because once again I kept things loose, as a little homage to Raphaël Lacoste and his original concepts for the game. Besides, this doesn't work smooth.

Face reference: Francisco Randez (original Altaïr model)
Personal reference for the pose.
